koze... | Allies should do business together. |
rtet... | It's a shame that the rest of the world has to indulge the mistake of the American electorate. The Trump regime benefits the ultrawealthy, not the middle and working classes nor the poor. Other countries are forced to negotiate with a man who doesn't understand how tariffs work. |
jerr... | Our Allies are a priority in a serious foundational way for our future. |
gpei... | This need is further strengthened when applied to healthy foodstuff like table olives and olive oil, specialty cheese, etc. that the US DOES NOT PRODUCE and have significant effect to consumer wellbeing and health. |
jeku... | We have shared history. Disagreements for sure. Not a great idea to count on trade partners that are overtly hostile on other fronts. So, work hard on maintaining European ties. That said, not everything had to be zero sum. |
kati... | Please |
wfer... | It is advantageous to work with others for the benefit of our people and country. But we should not make agreements that damage our long term strength and sustainability. |
jrv1... | EU puts it to us with tariffs, however we need to maintain a strong relationship |
jlca... | We need allies not enemies! |
jjka... | we lose a lot without their high quality products - they lose a lot without our strong markets and economic support |
lkdn... | Our biggest trade partner. Need stability in Europe |
chri... | Trump should cease all capricious, harmful commenting and handle all concerns diplomatically. |
klau... | TTIP should be reconsidered. |
twin... | The tariffs will result in many factories.closing and us small businesses closing their doors!!!! |
fufs... | It’s time the US realizes our “power” in the world is not that of a bully, but that of a partner who can add its best qualities to the best qualities of the partner. |
lora... | The EU is dying. They are not important anymore in sense of world economy. Their social programs have become a burden that they cannot afford any longer and want the US to bail them out. The US has its own set of issues and should focus on them and let EU fend for themselves. |
atli... | Extortion is not negotiation. The US is the loser regardless of the outcome. |
kold... | It's a global economy, duh. |
heat... | We need to be an ally to other countries and work to repair the relationships that have been sabotaged due to president trump egregious behavior |
mdul... | Although trade with the EU is important for economic stability, so is trade with the other leading US trade partners, China, Canada, and Mexico. Trump has clearly shown that unless he personally benefits economically, he doesn't care about such things as global stability and economic abundance for the world. His statement justifying his 50% tariff increase on the EU was just his way of saying that the EU had insufficiently assessed the reward he needs to receive to make a deal and they need to increase their offers. |
mart... | Free trade improves all economic outcomes. |
anth... | We cannot survive without positive relationships, trading and otherwise, with a quarter of the worlds economy. Remember, masturbation leaves you entirely in control, but it’s ultimately unproductive. |
nanc... | Trump’s isolationist views are so wrong for our country and the world. We risk losing a strong ally with his actions. |
In your opinion, should the U.S. take a more aggressive stance against Russia?
- 87% Yes, stronger actions are necessary
- 9% No, diplomacy should be prioritized
- 5% I’m undecided

rtmo... | What happened to Trump ending the war on day 1?? |
koze... | US should up only after Europe and other allies step up first. Would they have our back? We would have theirs. |
nanc... | Putin continues to make trump look like is subservient puppet. This is one more way for him to rub trump’s nose in it. |
mike... | Ask a followup question to your readers? Stronger action: ?Drop a nuclear bomb on Moscow ?Assassinate Putin ?Don't know |
simo... | Russia will crumble with true sanctions. We are witnessing weak world leaders who can’t do the right thing. Shame |
mdul... | Yes, of course the US should take stronger actions but there is no chance of that occurring. Recall that Trump is under Putin's control and Trump does nothing that will harm that relationship. Expect to hear harsh words from Trump and then complete inaction or, at best, some symbolic step that does not affect Putin in the least. |
kfer... | Russia attacked and invaded Ukraine, a domino in Russia’s expansion |
lora... | It is time for the US to employ secondary sanctions against Russia. This may cause oil prices to spike but it needs to be done. Putin is in a box and cannot settle the war without getting all of Ukraine after he has lost 500k to 1 million soldiers. He is a desperate man who knows he made a big mistake going into Ukraine. We need to stop the killing of people in this war. |
jimb... | Russia is the aggressor. STOP THEM BY ALL MEANS |
jald... | Diplomacy seems to be running out with both sides. There does not seem to be any agreement or arrangement that both can agree on. Personally I’m over it and don’t want us supporting Ukraine with money or weapons anymore as that only gives fuel to the fire and it never goes out. To much death and destruction. |
hard... | Russia clearly doesn't want to stop fighting and they won't stop with Ukraine |
rif5... | Ukraine is defending us all from Putin’s aggression |
lkdn... | Establish no fly zone with European partners. Secondary tariffs with any country that trades with Russia |
geof... | It’s the right thing to do. America should stand for doing the right, ethical thing and not accepting illegal invasions as ok. |
kati... | Help |
hamm... | We need to stop the war and return land Ukraine!!! |
tdhu... | Our president needs to impose and enforce the broadest and strongest sanctions possible against Russia. I don’t understand why neither the Biden administration or the Trump administrations have refrained from imposing ALL possible sanctions against Putin and Putin’s support system. I don’t want us to fund weapons for Ukraine or fight their war for them, but we need to use EVERY sanction available to crush Russia as much as possible. I hate the question, “Should the U.S. impose MORE sanctions against Russia?” because there shouldn’t be any “MORE” this many years into this war. We should have already started using every single sanction we could possibly use three years ago so that “more” is a moot adjective for the situation. |
john... | Putin will not react to dialog as past history has shown |
ris.... | Russia is not following the rules regarding cease-fire - Russia will never follow the rules -the record has proved that over and over- stronger action must be taken against Russia |
atli... | Neither Trump, Biden, nor Putin recognize that power over others is the solution to conflict. |
kold... | Trump has sold out to Putin. He's Putin's bitch. |
renh... | The Russians started this Without provocation. |
chri... | Putin acts with impunity because of Trump’s weakness. |
gjmi... | So far Trump is all talk, Putin is making a fool put of him. |
jim.... | Weakest president in US history needs to grow a spine and get tough with Putin. Long overdue! |
real... | Yes, Russia cannot go unchecked. Putin will not stop until he is forced to. |
sopa... | It's necessary to consider the reasons of both sides to reach peace. |
dave... | Despite claims to the contrary Russia attacked Ukraine with the aim of annexing the entire country. Ukraine has so far at great cost forestalled that. We along with European powers need to assist more. |
ejmi... | People don't get that putin has no intention of stopping, and will invade other European countries if Ukraine folds. |
shoe... | Putin is a thug and the only thing he understands in force. He won’t be stopped until the world cause Russia ‘s collapse. |
Do you believe that there is a viable solution to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas?
- 76% No, the situation is too entrenched for resolution
- 24% Yes, dialogue and negotiation can work

kfer... | Ceasefire and withdrawal, and support to the survivors in Gaza, to feed and rebuild. Israel will never be without threat as it has been inhuman is its actions to the Palestinians. |
atli... | Negotiation could work if Israel's endgame were not the total elimination of Palestinians. |
nanc... | Sadly, it doesn’t seem likely a solution can or will be reached as long as Netanyahu is in charge. |
jimb... | 2 perpetrators of genocide and 2 victims |
alli... | Gaza has failed. Time to stop funding this madness. |
creo... | Why do you think Devorce came into use when people who Love each other find themselves in a bad situation and the only way out was to kill the other! |
lkdn... | Stop supplying Israel with weapons and intelligence. Ultimatum to Israel to stop aggression. |
dpma... | Netanyahu is a terrorist, a madman and a lunatic . . . always has been, always will be. He never has had any desire for peace. He has personally led and promoted crimes against humanity, far, far, far beyond any reasonable response to the deadly and atrocious October 7th attacks. |
lora... | Hamas needs to surrender before this conflict will be over. Hamas has no regard for life so they will fight to the death and do not care about any of the people in Gaza. It is sad that the people of Gaza chose Hamas for their government. |
pete... | You can’t negotiate with terrorists like Hamas. |
arou... | Stop funding Israel |
r.sc... | Between the war crimes Israel is committing, the clear end goal of conquering and claiming Gaza as their the route to negotion is over. Israel will never be forgiven and peace will never happen. Netanyahu wants Gaza for himself. He has no desire to get to peace. He is using the guise of antisemitism to continue this attack. But he is breaking international codes of war and doesn't care. And the US is complicit. |

mdul... | Once they know the rules, business leaders have a responsibility to their shareholders to act in such as way as to maximize returns. In the present case of doing business under the Trump administration, though, this is especially challenging since Trump changes the rules on a whim. I've served on many boards and I'm sure I would have been asking about the risk analysis before Nvidia proceeded down this path. |
mart... | Free trade rules. |
atli... | Cooperation is better for the world than competition. |
pick... | If you disagree stop doing all trade with China. Both Import & export |
lora... | Growth is what is needed for them to survive. We can buy the same cheaper chips also. |

pete... | PFAS needs to be filtered out of any and all water and food related products down to about 10 ppt or less. But in North Carolina the republican controlled state legislature has not been up to the task of making this happen. |
chri... | What is TRUMP’s EPA doing about water and air purity? |
nsig... | No amount of alcohol swrves the body. |
btaw... | Don’t blame beer producers. Blame municipal water districts! |
