  • 24% No, it won’t change much

jodu...let's hope he doesn't change his mind and follows through.
eoha...It's about time Trump did this. Ukraine is fighting for Europe and the Free World. China is also watching.
rand...Yes this is the right thing to do! I accidentally clicked No which was wrong!
tubi...should have been there already. a deal is a deal.
rogm...Without the defense Ukraine will continue to suffer heavy losses due to the incoming drone attacks. Russia must learn consequences of its actions soothe next stage would be offensive weapons to Ukraine
patp...send all defense and offense
mcam...Putin is waging a “wear them down; then run them over” campaign strategy. Patriots will extend the time and perhaps see Russians rebel against funds going to the war and the number of men killed or seriously injured. Add sanction hammer planned and $$s may run out as will support of his people.
gabe...Full support to Ukraine. They are we getting Russia in finding its vulnerabilities. They are showing that it is no longer a superpower. By weakening Russia, that entire access has become vulnerable, allowing what transpired in the Middle East to occur, including the bombing of Iran and the weakening of its nuclear program. It’s all connected. Russia’s hands are to full now to interfere like they’ve done the past almost century.
mrbe...We should send more armament to help
dave...It’s about time! Trump has wasted time and Ukrainian lives while foolishly thinking he could negotiate with Putin!
greg...Actions speak louder than words. The false narratives of Trump loving Putin, not supporting Ukraine and not looking out for American taxpayers best interest by requiring the EU to pay their fair share hopefully can finally be dispelled!
nanc...Hopefully, it isn’t too late. This on again/off again from the U.S. has severe consequences for Ukraine and its ability to plan its defense. It’s obvious trump would much rather support Putin, but Putin has made him look like a real buffoon and at some point trump has realized it.
cica...The shipments never should’ve been withheld
mich...If for nothing more (but there is much more), Ukraine is a beacon of hope for liberalism and has shown incredible resolve, bravery and courage. Ukraine has most certainly sacrificed for the world.
usct...Maybe Trump should get off his cape and red covered behind and actually force Putin to stop the war in Ukraine.
atli...Military industrial complex and Trump have found a happy partnership. Huge profits at the shared expense of Ukraine and US taxpayers.
sopa...This war needs an end.
remy...Your readers are delusional. Patriot missiles didn't do anything for the past 3 years, why would it change now? The US and NATO lost this war. Their industrial base and military production are nowhere up to their imperial ambitions.
came...Russia has nuclear weapons and I wouldn’t put it past Putin to use them I think he will win anyway he can He’s sending many young Russians to their deaths—he doesn’t even care about his own people Maybe sanctions might work Are we heading for nuclear war?
jpra...This war is getting down to common sense. Russia is counting on the US getting tired and backing down. Ukraine can't do this on their own, if we don't support them, Russia will eventually continue their move into other neighboring countries.
exmx...It won’t turn the war in Ukraines favor, but it will save lives.
simo...Patriot missile is very uneconomical way to bring down a drone
karl...We should defend Ukraine, as Russia is the clear aggressor in this war. If we want to be a leader in the free world we should be acting like a leader.
jame...While it will likely have little impact on the outcome of the conflict, it WILL line the pockets of US military contractors.
pfor...The orange man still owes them more Patriot Missles that Biden committed. He thinks he is a hero but he is SO unqualified and incompetent in these situations. Give Ukraine what they need!!!
dste...Besides the clear military support, it will surely bolster Ukrainian morale.
kfmc...Why did it take so long to do this?
theu...Russia has been occupying and interfering in Ukraone since the 17th century. Sending missiles that will not end the conflict but will add more death and destruction is not the answer.
arth...Time to show Russia the door. If China gets slammed with heavy tariffs, it’ll drop Russia like a hot potato.
kold...It will help, but Trump’s “defensive weapons only” is his continued backup of Putin—as reflected in Hegseth stopping aid, a huge thumbs up to Putin
lkdn...They need offensive munitions
aran...Who cares about "significantly"? I mean, I agree, but anything will help. A friend of mine was teaching in Kiev recently and came within 200 feet of being blasted to smithereens. They had to walk over body parts to get to safety.
newb...It will press Russia towards a ceasefire.
ambl...Adding clarification that it will only strengthen Ukraine's defense if we send more, and more willingly instead of grudgingly. Dragging our heels and sending paltry numbers won't change much.
jgra...Probably won't bring the war to an end any time soon but may prevent Russia from overwhelming Ukraine
mccr...About damned time!
murr...It's a good start. The delay of getting those patriot systems to Ukraine
degg...Too little to late?😮

atli...It shows further signs of an uncertain economic future under an administration intent on destroying an economy for reasons explainable only by an out of control ego.
btaw...People are curtailing discretionary spending due to economic uncertainty. You can see it since beginning of the year and liberation day. This was an opportunity to buy non discretionary items at low prices.
jodu...Back to school buying may skew the numbers. I answered reflecting my own values.
twin...People are wTching their money now! Not shopping local; shopping online for cheaper prices. Future looks bleak for spending!!
dibi...We have a nation addicted to fast fashion, and cheap purchases to get a dopamine hit.
nanc...It’s a bit of both. Consumers are stocking up ahead of tariffs going into effect in August, just like what happened in May and June. They are expecting higher costs going forward, so they are buying cheaper goods.
edc....Convenience shopping.
jeff...people are buying items that will have higher prices soon due to tariffs

  • 16% It depends on the partner and industry
  • 15% Yes, tariffs encourage fairer trade balances

heig...Tariffs are a tax on ourselves.
tubi...tariffs can level the playing field, if the goal is to help US citizens. instead, dumb donald the pedo in chief, will use it as an opportunity to enrich himself.
sopa...Tariffs are the way to poverty for american people.
jmbe...Believe nothing that comes out of TACO,'s mouth, including these threatened tariffs.
rsti...Trump administration is incompetent and unfit for office. Stagflation 2026 here we come unless tariffs reduced to below 10%
dave...Another foolish Trump policy!
usct...Trump is unbalanced with his tariffs. He has no plan. Just chaos.
ende...When it comes to EU & Canada it will leave us without allies. Already in Europe I am seeing a difference of how they view us as Americans
gwal...It honestly depends on the industry overall
bjta...Tariffs in June added billions to the US Treasury. The first time we had a surplus in years. They are also a negotiating tool that will level the field for US products and bring back manufacturing to the US. Remember when Barry Obama told steel workers to learn computers? His globalist position destroyed our manufacturing base. The Trump administration is on the right track. Keep up the good work for the American People!!

Do violent incidents like this change your perception of safety in your community?

  • 58% Yes, I feel less safe than before
  • 42% No, I feel my community is as safe as usual

ambl...Still too much access to guns here in the US, and too little access to mental health care. These tragedies just keep happening, and still our "leaders" do nothing except deflect blame onto immigrants and such.
150m...The shooter was a Palestinian symathizer. Why on earth are you leaving that information out?
jmbe...Correct wording for "No" response: My community feels as UNsafe as usual.
edc....Threats are always there.
csbr...This could happen anytime and any place.
btaw...No community is totally safe from unpredictable events.

Do you believe psychopathy is primarily caused by neurobiological factors (brain differences) or by environmental influences such as upbringing?

  • 62% Both equally important
  • 24% Mostly neurobiological
  • 15% Mostly environmental

jame...Seems pretty clear that those with smaller brains and less ability to think critically are more animalistic.
aran...Brain atrophy can occur as a consequence of mental distress, e.g. depression. There is no single gene for schizophrenia or any other mental illness. Complexes of genes have to be "expressed" owing to environmental conditions for such illness to happen. Which means that Trump's brain is most likely the size of a pea.
btaw...Too early to tell based on limited data. Thanks for finally publishing the results of Trumps recent cognitive exam.
csbr...Your childhood biography becomes your adult biology.
john...My 76 year old wife recently had a brain MRI looking for a cause of nerve pain in her jaw. It revealed that her brain volume had shrunk, which her doctor said was normal at her age. Her smaller brain size has not affected her behavior which is about as far from psychopath is as one can get.
ambl...A neurobiological tendency could be blunted through a good environment, and exponentially compounded by a bad environment.
nanc...I would guess both are causal and they feed off each other.
bole...Is “Lombroso” type human back on the books?

Should genetic testing for mutations like BRCA2 and TP53 become a standard recommendation for all women over a certain age?

  • 92% Yes, it enables early detection and prevention
  • 8% No, it may cause unnecessary anxiety and costs

EmailComments
looy...I had these tests done after my mother passed away with end stage Ovarian cancer!
ambl...Just like with genetic testing for breast cancer mutations. And recommend it even more strongly, or even younger, in those with any family history.
mgoo...It should depend on family history and other factors. The testing is costly and it can be anxiety provoking.
came...It will save lives
aran...It's criminal that it hasn't happened sooner. So many women die of ovarian cancer.
gabe...Can’t make a determination without knowing: 1. Test costs and frequency. 2. False positive and negative rates 3. Sensitivity and specificity
