blik...Israel should simply take back all of Gaza, control it, and civilize it - for the security of Israel, and the region, and the world. HAMAS and the Palestinians had their "State". There was a peace and ceasefire on the morning of October 7, 2022. They showed their untrustworthiness, again. No trust. No point in pretending any longer.
krip...Can we trust Israel to not govern?
kvas...Peace in the Middle East is unlikely. I'm 74, and it hasn't happened in my lifetime. But rooting out terrorists is possible, and the Israelis have both the ability and just cause for doing exactly that. The Palestinians haven't done it. Hamas lives among them. Israel has every right to defend itself, including controlling the base of operations of the terrorists who try to destroy Israel.
loma...Isreal is disgusting
myro...Unfortunately, this question ignores the fact that there aren’t any other plans on the table that are likely to resolve the situation on the ground. This situation will remain dire until the Palestinians recognize Israel’s right to exist and they give up their aspirations to take back control of Israel from the Jewish population. Until that day happens, nothing will resolve this endless cycle of violence and the idea of a “two state solution” has no chance of success.
step...The entire campaign to eliminate Hamas is monumentally stupid and futile. It is an ideology, not just a collection of murderous maniacs. Every Palestinian casualty has generated more recruits for the extremists.
milt...Israel's government has committed war crimes and this is just taking it to another level. They have prevented other recognized organizations from providing food and resources to the civilian population. Shame. Shame. You can win the war and lose your soul and never find peace and security. And shame to my government for using my tax dollars to legitimate such atrocities. Never a good idea to sign a blank check.
carl...This question is phrased in an unclear way and seems to skirt the bigger question of how genocide will effect long term welfare, rebuilding essential utilities, and if settlers come in to take land.
mary...It's the only way to end this war. You cannot fight with guerilla terrorists in an urban war forever. Hamas has no qualms about civilian deaths as long as they hurt Israel's standing. They have to be eradicated so those people can have a future.
dave...There is no doubt that Hamas much be eradicated for the sake of both Israeli's and Palestinians. But will the IDF be willing to pay the price in lives of their young reservists to achieve the goal and destroy Hamas' embedded guerilla military forces?
kkjj...still, any non-converts to islam are the Infidel ! Correct ?
poll...More violence will not end violence. Seeking and creating peace requires requires acknowledgement that military domination will not end this conflict. Earnest talks, negotiations and compromise on all parts is the solution.
slab...Fighting will never end until Palestine is given the rights of a sovereign nation and Israel quits forcefully taking Arab land and calling it colonialism.
case...So sick of the Israeli propaganda promoting this genocide.
cger...As long as Hamas runs and controls Gaza, the people will be taken advantage of . Hamas ONLY cares about itself and the total destruction of Israel. They CANNOT keep on doing the same thing hoping for a different outcome. New ideas like this MUST be attempted for hopefully a better outcome.
jtis...Fuck the terrorist they all deserve to rot. The war in Gaza would be over if they would release the hostages
pjpa...Time to cut the head off the snake known as Hamas
talk...Proud activist Palestinians will resist outside control; passive ones will get trampled or starved in the fight. Continued lives lost.
anne...It was done in the past and failed. Why aren't the other Arab countries helping the Palestinians? Israel is blamed for everything and held at a different standard then every other country in the world.
leik...This way any oppresor and terrorist will deal with other Arab nation and not Israel. The enemy will not dare attack other arab nation. Let them have gaza and leave Israel alone.
sere...I'm unsure of the results because I think the Arab nations are very antiquated with their distorted versions of their Koran. Given the opportunity to govern themselves without the religious and feudal interpretations I think the Arabs could be a great unified unit.
agm6...Same thing that happen with Iraq will happen with Gaza.
kdwa...They aren’t handing Gaza over! This is the end goal for Israel. Next will be the West Bank. Then Syria, then Lebanon. Slowly but surely Israel will complete its horrific plan to take all of Palestine.
tomd...It all depends on which country they hand it over to. Some MIGHT be alright, but, with others, I believe it would be a disaster.
kold...With 18,000+ dead children, I doubt if any Israeli plan will be tolerated by Arabs, for sure not Palestinians. If occupation kills fewer, it may have value
nice...Just give Gaza back to Gaza!
frie...Hamas must be crushed. That will be the starting point to peace in the Middle East
atli...A concentration camp is just the latest effort to make the slow ethnic cleansing, followed by genocide, more manageable.
slim...Colonization is not solving any conflict in this case.
marc...If Israel maintains control, the plan is not feasible
19pi...No, not a solution. This is genocide! NOT OK!!!!!!
smil...It should maintain oversight and military control while the new government establishes itself and develops adequate civilian institutions to peacefully govern.
farr...Free Palestine, people are dying!
nina...The only way Israel will ever have peace is a 2 state solution. Palestinians having human rights, safety and security, homes, hospitals, universities etc.
jrv1...Negative Nellie responses. What’s the other alternative. Let Hamas continue. It’s seems like bold ideas are never received well by reader base
gpaf...A good intention but will need sincere peace loving Arab state to oversee. Bold move for Israel to trust anyone else to do it. I’d go far away to South Africa or Australia to get a non- biased mediator. UN is not presently unbiased
dbda...Why are you using numbers from the “Gaza Health Ministry”? You are spreading propaganda! Wake up.
tubi...israel has no intention of allowing the indigenous people to live there. occupiers gotta occupy
bria...Better than the alternative
joll...ISRAEL is all LIES! Can you see the war crimes through your biased bullshit!
jack...There appears to be no (by that I mean zero) to help rebuild Gaza and ensure a stable and prosperous Gaza with a functioning, popular government that could provide a peaceful future for the Palestinian country and Israel. The contrast between the allies treatment of the Axis powers after WWII and Israel’s treatment of the defeated Gaza population is startling.
wlof...I think Israel has a deep and vehement hate for Hamas and Gazans and is trying to exterminate them but is facing world pressure because the photos of starvation are too intense. Therefore this plan is an alternate way to achieve their goal in a less public way.
cyto...Netanyahu previously announced his intention to eradicate the Palestinian people. He may be as evil as Trump, but doesn't randomly babble things he doesn't mean or understand. This is his intention, and we are apparently OK with it.
csbr...The state of Israel will forever be a target to destroy after their genocide campaign against the Palestinians. The children of Israel will suffer from the actions of their forefathers.
leil...No one is starving in Gaza, that has been proven over and over again. Please edit your reporting.
sude...Attacking people and having a military upperhand without taking the innocent out of the situation will most likely result in more casualties
ttim...Those Arab terrorists will continue to destroy any peace efforts. After 2000 some yrs. Why would it change. Take over Garza and drive those terrorists out I say.
igha...This will only work if Gaza is defeated completely and it may cause even more backlash from the world
jest...Continuing to trust a people who’s culture commits violence and abuse as well as passing ignorance from generation to generation.
sias...It is heartbreaking to see what is being done to people lives. War is not the answer.

what...It’s a false hope. We can’t control it, train it, yet investing way too much.
femm...LLMs are predictive language models with no understanding of the underlying data.
wlof...Its getting way better but any user can see this.
jra9...Even if it learns independently, it lacks clear ethics to guide it. The NYT had an article showing a person was influenced and then convinced that he had a breakthrough mathematical model. This was patently untrue and created a terrible situation for the human.
kvas...It's ARTIFICIAL intelligence. Just like cubic zirconium is artificial diamonds. It may look like intelligence, but it isn't. It's just a computer program. The intelligence comes from the programmer. That is what worries me the most about ARTIFICIAL intelligence. It gives the false impression of actual intelligence, but it's really a reflection of the ability, biases, hidden agendas, political leanings of its programmer. Beware!
blan...AI responses still require human oversight and will improve as user prompts and knowledge improve.

trdy...This government is best described in the song “Santa Maria” by Trooper!
ebr....Why is Trump still in power? He needed to be overthrown like two weeks ago.
tomd...I am SO glad to see so many others agree with me on this - 84.9% as of this writing. Not much else to say because I believe Anna's language nails the issue.
marc...More horrible news
jose...Talk about a rigged election! Trump is rigging the economy.
tubi...devaluing the dollar will hurt the lower middle class
wlof...Way out of my league of knowledge.
kvas...If the little orange comb-over gets his way, we're back to 1929 and Herbert Hoover. Get in the bread line early.
rjfe...His very poorly informed informed ideas represent fringe economic theory based on wishful thinking.
jeff...He is just another Trump sycophant!!!
nanc...Another yes-man put into a serious position, who will do anything tRump. says. We are so screwed!
milt...This is a risky strategy, giving the President control of interest rate setting and insisting rates get reduced, with refits skyrocketing and Social Security on more tenuous financial footing than ever - with no fix in sight. Unfortunately, Trump supporters seem to be declaring victory while the economic impact is only starting to take effect. This is going to end badly.
mspe...The Fed should be independent of presidential politics
atli...How can anyone have confidence in someone who is being appointed by an economically ignorant president.
ned....King Trump wants to control everthing !
brad...He’s an idiot
csbr...Pedophile 47

csbr...Wonder why they don’t do the same against China? Oh wait, China owns the US. El Chapo had a pretty nice sized bounty on Trump.
atli...Maduro is a dictator, similar to Donald Trump, who happens to have a small supply of oil, that Donald lusts after. Another sign of the times.
kvas...I don't trust anything that happens in the little orange comb-over's administration.
ebr....He sticks his nose where it does not belong per usual.
