- 23% Yes, justified reasons

---|---|
cfcu... | Too much politics Trump needs to focus on more important items like putting very severe restrictions on Russia |
guin... | If you believe he is royalty then maybe he does. He acts as our King and we have lost our sense of being a republic. But, time will provide a solution to this mess. So, for now, let's pretend he is only the president. |
hdsc... | He has lost insight into the role of the executive branch & limited powers it(HE) has. Thank goodness Federal Courts are acting with the responsibility expected of the judiciary (save for the failure of the Supreme Court?. Where is the Congress??? |
kitt... | He is just searching for a way to get rid of her. |
pete... | Irrespective of the fact that the US President has no legal authority to fire Federal Reserve Governors, at best, the firing was based only on an allegation, with no supporting evidence, from a clearly biased individual. |
jeff... | Just more of his petty intimidation moves! |
gwal... | The facts are out there that she was committing mortgage fraud. The people that say it's no unjustified reasons are a bunch of libtards and do not like what Trump is doing. |
robe... | Is not the District of Columbia Governor elected as any other state? If so how and what gives him the right to claim this ability...seems like over stepping again. |
kate... | It is surprising to me that someone who is committing mortgage fraud is a part of determining such important monetary decisions for our country. |
cass... | If she is breaking the law for financial reasons she should not be in control of financial decisions for the country. |
tama... | Trump claiming someone has done criminal things? Give me a break. |
kelt... | Blatant mortgage fraud. Why should anyone, not just a government figure be allowed to cheat the system. Don't you remember all the fraud in 08? It collapsed the system. |
mend... | I don’t condone her behavior, but it seems to be in line with what everybody else is doing these days. The rule of law is a Jeopardy as well as the fed independence. So there is no real. |
amco... | Trust President Trump |
lind... | 99% of what this maga moron does is unjustified!! IMPEACH!! |
twin... | He want to destroy democracy and anyone who gets in the way of his PERSONAL agenda! IMPEACH NOW! He isnt for the good of our country - he is a self-serving dictator! |
rjre... | It is just more political posturing! His working hypothesis is “throw enough “STUFF” on the wall something will stick! |
abel... | Needs to focus on his obligations and leave the Fed do their jobs |
patc... | As always, his accusations reflect his own crimes and misdeeds. |
sjoe... | Did everyone forget trump was convicted of bank fraud by overestimating his net worth to achieve business loans at preferential rates. the whole reason this is even occurring trumps was to appointment someone that he owns. The fed must stay independent! |
nanc... | He just wants to pack the Federal Reserve with his own loyalists who will do his bidding. It worked for the Supreme Court, why not the Reserve? |
chiu... | |
fcse... | But no authority to do so. Her financial dealings were before her appointment to the Fed. They should have been considered then. |
ttim... | I believe the judge is bias! |
grov... | No one is above the law |
tere... | Accusations manufactured by an acolyte using ill-gotten “evidence”. At long last sir, have you no dignity. |
creo... | Hey my name is Peter Pan and I never want to grow up! |
jb90... | The Fed must operate without direct influence of the Executive Branch. That’s how are government works. Better not question centuries of success for one man’s ego. |
tlos... | Trump is out of his mind drunk with power & privilege |
usct... | If doubling up on mortgage information is cause for investigation and dismissal, then most of Trump’s Administration and Trump should be investigated and dismissed. Just another example of the lawlessness and incompetence of this Trump Administration. |
atli... | Just more hate and revenge from our dictator-in-chief. |
cind... | Overstepping, again, |
jrv1... | Equally important as Feds independence is their integrity. I suppose the only way to really know is see the mortgage application. It’s disheartening to think Federal Officials would misrepresent the facts for financial benefit. My position is if you cheat on one thing, what else will you cheat on. Trump should have waited until it was either verified or not |
dale... | Buffoon! |
emyo... | HE DOES NOT EVEN HAVE THE AUTHORITY. THE FED IS INDEPENDENT FROM THE THREE BRANCHES FOR A REASON. |
cica... | Several members of his own cabinet, have done the same thing with her mortgages. And you kind of wonder about a man with 34 convictions against him and another 60 some that were dismissed because he got to be president, who is he to pass judgment? |
rena... | Do we want people who commit fraud for financial gain making decisions at the highest levels? For me, the answer is, NO! |
vlcl... | It is like every who does not agree with anything the president wants they are on a target list to get fired. And that is not right |
mrse... | This is so delicious! Trump, found guilty of real estate fraud, tries to fire someone because of real estate fraud! What a world! |
kvas... | Old Fat and Ugly can't tolerate anyone around him who isn't willing to kiss his ass. |
katn... | Everyone answers to someone and the Fed falls under the Executive Branch. To prevent politicization, I understand he must have just cause but if she is found guilty of fraud, she can and must be removed. |
geof... | If he liked the Fed’s policies (I.e.they were aligned with what he wants), there’s no way he would have fired her. |
mari... | The orange bitch only wanted to stack the reserve with those willing to follow him without question. |
caza... | Lying on a mortgage application is a federal crime. She's a federal official who committed a federal crime. It's not really a gray area except for another leftist judge who rules from her heart rather than the law. Imagine a Republican Federal Reserve Governor doing the same thing. The entire Democrat/media machine would come down on them. Democrats in New York charged Trump with mortgage fraud and fined him half a BILLION dollars. |
cvez... | Lying is habitual |
will... | Trump is the worst President in the history of the United States. I am a Republican. |
rsti... | Impeach all MAGA traitors |
rayn... | She is setting policy for all of us but not playing by the rules we have to follow. Someone in government should be held to a high standard and completely follow the rules and policies of this great nation. |
jose... | Trump want to intimidate fed members. |
jald... | Funny they talk about FED independence or the illusion of independence more like it when the FED cut rates before the election to try and help Harris but now they say inflation is still not where they want it a year latter. What a joke and the people who say and believe the FED is truly independent are a joke also. Trump has been right about rates since day one and now look a jobs data as that was cooked under Biden which Trump was also right about. |
dwig... | She was never found guilty of an infraction |
ende... | He is obviously trying to eliminate or control all independent branches of the government. |
rtet... | Our system is not perfect. But a man who doesn't even understand how tariffs actually work (they're consumer taxes) shouldn't control the Federal Reserve. Trump's economy is showing warning signs of mismanagement: rising prices, lower employment, lower foreign treasury bond purchases, etc. |
gban... | Unconstitutional. |
cger... | The Progressive Leftist reading these articles don't believe ANY law breakers should be held accountable for ANYTHING. That's what caused the senseless killing of that poor woman in Charlotte. |
Should Israel’s airstrike on Hamas leaders in Qatar be considered a justified act of self-defense?
- 74% No, it escalates the conflict further.
- 26% Yes, it was a necessary action.
Comments | |
---|---|
mend... | Evil people must be sought out where they hide |
wald... | It is high time we shed Israel’s grip on our total government !! |
ibmi... | Israel has committed an act of war against Qatar. Why are we not calling it what it is? |
emyo... | It doesn’t just escalate a conflict. It’s a war crime. |
nanc... | Netanyahu has no interest in a ceasefire or peace. He’s out of control. |
suzp... | Israel has forfeited its right to claim self defense anywhere in the world. They are a rogue nation at this point, focused on taking land and killing innocent people under the guise of defending themselves. If they are too incompetent to accomplish defeating Hamas without decimating Palestine, they should maybe review their goals and means. |
jamf... | Until Hamas is eradicated, there can be no peace. They have no respect for human life! |
jald... | 200% justified. In what world do we live where Hamas or any terrorist group thinks they can hide out in some foreign nation to escape justice is wrong and Israel or the US will and should come after you and any country harboring you. This is how wars are won and ended inflict pain on those keeping them going. 100%support Israel. |
jb90... | Israel did exactly what Hamas thought they might. The result is less support from their alies including their largest (the USA). |
ttim... | Enough of Hamas hiding hostages and being funded by Iran. Release the hostages and listen to the citizens. |
bobb... | No, this is state sponsored terrorism to go along with their state sponsored genocide. Israel has really gone down the drain with Netan"yahoo" and trump. Why aren't jews speaking up?? |
glam... | Now they should sit down to a meeting and resolve all their issues. |
csbr... | Israel is going to start WW3. The IDF and Netanyahoo are terrorists and need to be eliminated by any means necessary. |
hine... | If Hamas has been named a terrorist organization by Isreal, the EU and the US then they are fair game no matter where they are at. You can’t have it both ways, i.e. labeling a group terrorist and then treating them as if they were a passive minority church club that has some type of right to negotiate. If they were not named a terrorist group it would be totally different. |
How do you view the labeling of the drone attacks as an “act of war” by U.S. officials?
- 81% Agree, it’s a serious escalation
- 19% Disagree, it’s an overreaction
Comments | |
---|---|
kelt... | Russia has been at war with western powers since Putin consolidated power. Closing our eyes and wishing away the hostilities and destruction isn’t working |
emyo... | Again, not an escalation. Poland has no involvement in Russia’s criminal war in Ukraine. This is an expansion. |
atli... | War is always an overreaction to everything. Whether it is perpetrated by Russia or NATO. But it makes the chicken hawks feel brave and the war profiteers rich enough to buy more chicken hawks. |
nanc... | Very serious and it only clarifies what we can expect from Putin going forward. |
ttim... | Creeping escalation by Russia. |
arth... | If Poland is attacked, by charter rules, all NATO charter countries have to rally to Poland’s support. This could be easily WWIII unless handled correctly. |
jald... | This is where Europe needs to put on their big boy pants and do something g before this escalates further. Doing nothing only further emboldens Russia. |
mend... | It’s time to end this thing |
How do you view the role of government in regulating pharmaceutical advertising?
- 81% Government should play a significant role
- 19% Government should have minimal involvement
Comments | |
---|---|
kelt... | look at the advertising budget for all the pharmaceutical companies. If they pulled back 50%, think of the savings they could pass through to the consumer. The ads are a joke. You still need a script from a medical professional. |
kvas... | What?! Old Fat and Ugly wants regulations to be enforced?! Is he really a Republican? Of course the government (or what's left of it thanks to Old Fat and Ugly) must regulate big pharma. The opioid crisis still lingers. |
cind... | It’s public safety and understanding, so a significant role. But it won’t happen due to even more significant pharmaceutical bribes to the right politicians. |
phol... | Prescription only meds should not be advertised on tv. This adds to high costs of meds. Pharma lobbyists use high expenses to defend overcharging the public. |
ende... | Government has to step in whenever Pharma has misrepresented or withheld issues with taking drugs( aka Opioids ) I believe there needs to be an oversight on the greed and collusion between them and health insurance companies |
mend... | The government should step in if there’s any misleading information and if a drug is more harmless side effects than the illness supposed to treat |
hine... | Any controlled substance should have controls in place that cover "incomplete" advertising or establish a web site where they can only be placed on it and not TV or webplashes. The extreme would be to say "ask your doctor for heroin because it is so great for you" and then go on to say in the fast small print that "it could be habit forming so consult your physician to see if it is right for you". There should be more data collection to require posting of the stats of the side effects that they are declaring also. Looking from another view it could be that the stats might show that it is only a certain age group or people with other illnesses that drive the negative effects and some people that the drug could really help are not asking their doctor about it because of those negative effects, which ultimately cost the medical system and the individual more money. |
ttim... | They are simply profit motivated and fining them is simply a wrist slap, heavy fines are necessary. |
dest... | Because Pharm companies are out of control, act above the law, mislead and massively profit selling drugs with cause health problems |
tere... | This is eyewash and diversion of attention. A prelim to another corporate shakedown. There are only syncopates left at FDA, the rest were purged by now-banished Elon. Going great so far, we don’t need no stinking’ government |
neal... | They should be allowed to do it in the first place. |
atli... | Even a fool is occasionally right. |
jald... | Government should regulate them as these commercials should be illegal. Allow Dr’s to prescribe medication without patients coming in saying they need meds because they saw a commercial. We have become to reliant on pills in our society. |
How concerned are you about the role of gut bacteria in chronic diseases like diabetes?
- 59% Very concerned
- 38% Somewhat concerned
- 3% Not concerned at all
Comments | |
---|---|
atli... | Need more money going to research that benefits humans and less money to Department of War for the killing of them. |
btaw... | Not enough information or background to make an informed assessment |
How much do you trust the current nutritional science regarding processed foods?
- 54% I trust it completely.
- 46% I have my doubts.
Comments | |
---|---|
jald... | Don’t trust it since they have allowed ingredients to be put in foods that other European nations have banned because they are bad for humans and can cause significant health problems but yet the FDA turns an eye because I’m sure they are being paid off by big food manufacturers. |
hine... | without seeing the controls on the diet of the 43 men, i.e. was it the same calorie intake and were they all exercising or not and doing so in proportion to their needed caloric intake and life styles, then it could be the increase in weight was due to many other factors. |
ende... | I believe the socialist nations do a better job keeping their population healthy and limiting harmful processes (not that I want to be socialist) but it does create a common sense approach to keep people healthier Unfortunately the FDA allowing a round up type product to go into all our wheat products (slowly poisoning us all) in the name of faster processing's something these other nations didn't let happen, but we did, now our health system is burdened with all the health issues caused with the inflammation. It is a disconnect in our systems |
neal... | UPF is absolute shit. Not many reasons to go down an aisle in a grocery store these days. Stick to the outside. |
cbut... | The definition of UPFs is too arbitrary. I do believe on average that these foods are bad for us but I would rather see research per ingredient (e.g. sugar! sugar replacements! palm oil! preservatives! etc) because they serve quite different purposes and our bodies react to them differently. As a working parent of small children: Convenience is not the enemy. Cooking whole foods from scratch every meal is not realistic. I would love to see research that doesn't lump every time-saving food together into one category, but provides actionable realistic guidance. |
gwen... | I believe UPF are likely bad but these are correlations not causation and I’m sad and frightened that science has become so biased. |
kvas... | How can anybody trust current science with Worm Brain in charge of the national health organizations? |
atli... | While I suspect these findings are accurate, I generally distrust health agencies stacked with anti-science leaders. |
