aran... | Depleting its stockpiles? Are you kidding me? |
atli... | The US should as a matter of policy reduce its stockpiles of weapons separately from consideration of Ukraine. Ukraine never needed to happen and an end to the fighting should be pursued. The amount of US weapons available for its own use will only encourage their use in another conflict involving the US under the pretext of "defense". Good business for the war contractors. |
chri... | You ask the wrong question. Provide uninterrupted game-changing aid AND don’t let stockpiles get depleted. |
fant... | Russia is an aggressor that needs to be stopped. We must show the world that we stand behind our friends and allies, so that they will trust us to do the same for them in the future. |
rfl_... | Stop sending unlimited help to Israel and see that both could be helped without any other risks |
bret... | If now then when This is the battle between good and evil |
ende... | But we should still make available what we can |
scoo... | Or we stupid or our president stupid. I think both. If we depleted our stock pike, we need to make more, not save. Because in case of real war, not proxy, we will be destroyed with attitude like this. |
usac... | USA must protect Ukraine from the dictatorship of Russia , china and North Korea |
gban... | The US has enough firepower not to deplete its stockpile. And the big ugly bill adds to that. |
drji... | We need to help them, but not at the expense of depleting our own stockpiles...time for other NATO countries to jump in |
mmed... | Enough is enough. Russia should have been out on notice and sanctioned last fall This is gone on far too long. |
g.sa... | The US and its allies have to increase production to maintain our weapon stockpiles. |
bird... | Stop funding other people's wars!!! |
tubi... | a deal is a deal. |
fcse... | Need to bring Putin’s Russia to its knees for the sake of Europe and US. |
nd1n... | We need to send a message to Russia and China. |
jkde... | Sure, tRump’s game will change anyway/anytime. Support Ukrainian lives while we can. The tRump be gone!!!!! |
wher... | If Russia isn’t stopped they will continue into other countries |
chiu... | Hell no!! |
rbir... | We would be giving permission for China to take over Tiwain if we deplete our ammunition!! |
kath... | This is a must win confrontation with Putin who will threaten NATO countries if he is allowed to succeed in conquering Ukraine. Extreme economic sanctions must be placed on all who continue to trade and support Russia, until they withdraw from Ukraine. |
amy.... | Good grief. Secure your own oxygen mask before helping others. |
greg... | Love your newsletter. |
arth... | 1st obligation is protection a U.S. But otherwise, assist as much as possible. |
mars... | I don’t believe our supplies are being depleted |
www1... | We must stop Russia . We agreed to protect Ukraine and they gave up their nukes in return. |
carm... | At this point, we should skip the proxy war |
zkig... | The US needs to stop getting involved in outside conflicts. Our own country is becoming third world and we are sending money we don’t have outside to fight endless wars |
newb... | Keeping the Russians in check is in US and NATO interest. |
pdmo... | They are fighting the war for us. |
becc... | The best idea would be for Trump and Vance to apologize on national TV to Ukraine's leader for being a jerk to him. |
mich... | They don’t need missiles. They need drones |
patp... | We need to do ALL we can for Ukraine. It is clearly in our best interest. |
mrse... | This is a hot war and Russia needs to be stopped. We need to also send offensive weapons. |
jtba... | If ukrainians fight Russians now, Americans will not have to fight them in the near future |
terr... | like it or not….this is our war. Russia (Putin’s) aggression must be stopped. |
cica... | Yes, we always should’ve been. This was never a war. It was a slaughter to begin with only Ukraine had other ideas. Just as now they call it a war, but it’s just a giant war crime on Putin’s part. He’s attacking civilians he’s not even bothering trying to make it a military thing. The pole results above shouldn’t even be this close. I don’t know what’s wrong with 39% of the people that they can’t see what Ukraine is going through. |
avea... | Russia has been in a come war with us and only responds to power. Erring them take Ukraine would be a major problem for the EU and the US long term. |
cdau... | J |
hraw... | Aid should be provided but not at a cost that puts our country defenseless |
sall... | Support democracies everywhere |
lzmd... | If Zelensky continues he will see Ukraine completely destroyed and in Russian hands anyway. He is literally killing his own people with the help of the west. Any male between ages 18 - 60 is being dragged out of their homes to fight. My father lives there and sees it. They are selling organs of the dying young. Why is no one covering this??? They just paint Putin as the bad guy. Would America not be upset if Mexico decided to cozy up with the Kremlin and allow for Russian military bases on its land? Trump was right in trying to broker peace, but Zelensky doesn't care about peace. He cares about siphoning out as much money as possible for his corrupt comrades while his people bleed. |
laur... | Aiding allies is what stockpiles are frmoe |
ptri... | Putin has to realise that bullies will not be tolerated !! |
lind... | Stockpiles can be replenished. Ukraine is vulnerable NOW. |
csmc... | Fight them there or fight them here… |
loft... | Putin Must be Stopped!! |
clar... | Ukraine fights for the free world, not itself alone. Only a fool believes Putin’s ambtions ends at its border. |
ebr.... | We need to get back on the right side of history! IstandwithUkraine |
lkdn... | We can easily rebuild |
mage... | I believe that this is a losing war where the outcome has been predetermined. Why postpone the inevidable! |
nanc... | A deal’s a deal. Ukraine’s military plans included those weapons which were promised. TACO has no problem with reneging on a deal if it suits him. |
gche... | If at the same time we ramp up production of critical weapons and begin to refocus our defense strategies towards the next battle instead of the most recent one it would create a huge "win-win). I have serious doubts about this happening with the current DoD. |
karp... | No dictators |
dave... | Pease through strength! Load up Ukraine and shock and awe Russia to stop war. |
clay... | News several years ago had them in top 5 for human trafficking. Let them defend themselves ! |
tere... | Putin understands a punch in his nose. The rest is just talk. |
jose... | Trump caused this problem with Russian advance. |
doct... | It is difficult to grasp that there are still Americans fooled by the military industrial complex, who love endless wars so they can make enormous profits off the death and destruction of meaningless conflicts that never end with satisfaction. Ukraine is a military industrial economic bottomless pit. Don't fall for it, my fellow Americans. |
brnb... | The enemy of our enemies is our friend. Between Ukraine and Israel the axis of evil is on the ropes, now is not the time to let up. If Ukraine is successful, the US need for the defensive weapons will be reduced. |
neil... | It's a proxy war initiated by the US with a regime change. USA should keep out of this conflict unless they want to support the Nazis |
ypsi... | With the massive military budget it’s hard to imagine that our stock piles will be depleted. |
john... | We need to support Ukraine in any way we can but not leave ourselves unprotected. |
knol... | Ukraine is the frontline of defense for all Europe, and NATO. America cannot walk away morally or strategically. Ukraine has fought with one hand behind its back since the beginning. |
gina... | We should not deplete our own defense capabilities, but definitely support Ukraine. Increase production for stockpiles |
mdul... | Trump and his staff frequently claim that the U.S. has spent $300–350 billion on Ukraine, framing it as far more than European support. Independent audits claim much lower numbers, finding Congress appropriated $183 billion (2022–2024) of which about $67 billion has been military aid actually delivered. The remainder funded replenishing U.S. weapon stockpiles, training, refilling equipment, and humanitarian assistance—mostly benefiting the U.S. defense industry, not Ukraine directly. Trump’s cabinet stated recent pauses (including Patriot missiles, HIMARS munitions, Hellfires, 155 mm rounds) were due to resource contention, claiming U.S. forces couldn’t sustain both their own needs and shipments to Ukraine. Pentagon officials and general staff, however, described these pauses differently. They said it was a “global stockpile review”, rather than a strict resourcing conflict—they emphasized replenishment and strategic priorities alongside readiness for other theaters. Bottom line with all of this is that the US has succeeded in replenishing its own needs and sending aging equipment that would soon be written off to Ukraine. We are not in an either/or situation and can continue supporting Ukraine's needs. Finally, let's also not forget that the recently approved ICE budget alone is larger than the entire military budget of Russia. We can certainly afford to remain true to our obligations under the Budapest Memorandum. |
rtet... | The DOD won't allow our stockpiles to drop to a dangerous level. They have an inventory system in place. |
jon.... | The U.S. has no national interest in continuing to feed Ukraine's insatiable need for weapons (even defense weapons) given its outright refusal to negotiate a peace with Russia to end the slaughter. Only a few years ago, Ukraine was deemed by the U.S. as corrupt nation and declined an opportunity to resolve its dispute with Russia. |
lws0... | The US needs to make the arming of Ukraine a priority and do whatever it is possible to do to support the Ukrainian people in both weapons and civil society. |
lora... | This war needs to end. Trump will end this war once he resolves the Iran issue and gets a cease fire in Gaza. Once this is done he will put more pressure on Putin. |
erib... | We must support Ukraine |
kimv... | Stop spending money in other countries |
kvas... | Traitor Don will want his love idol Putin to get what he wants. And, of course, there's a reason he's called TACO. One day he supports Ukraine, the next day he cuts them off, the next day he's back to supporting them. So he's supporting Ukraine now, but wait until Putin calls and starts whispering sweet nothings in his ear. |
clos... | I wonder if we can afford all this help we give. |
mill... | Keep Putin from his goal of conquering the West with the help of trump |
jan.... | AND he should replace the sanctions on Russia |
How likely is it that these tariffs will lead to a broader trade war that disrupts global markets?
- 62% Very likely, tensions will escalate
- 22% Unlikely, diplomacy will prevent escalation
- 16% Possible, but uncertain
Comments | |
---|---|
lora... | tariffs are already showing that they have little effect. It is bringing manufacturing back to the US which will create many middle income jobs. We need to stop being just a service country. |
rtet... | TACO again. Trump kicked the can from 7/9 to 8/1. It is unconscionable that Japan and South Korea, two of our closest allies are being punished with 25% tariffs. The Trump regime's mistreatment of our even closer allies, Canada and Mexico, is also unacceptable. Yet our supposed enemies, Russia and North Korea, are gifted zero tariffs. Yes, NK is not a trading partner but neither is Heard Island near Antarctica, which Trump also slapped with tariffs. |
cica... | Uncertainty is the name of the game now. Thanks Republicans and Trump voters. I thought the Republican party was the party of business. I sold all my positions and put it in cash. I’m getting 4.6% for my money to sit there safely. That’s better than most dividend stocks. With no risk if you really want to resist this nonsense put all your money in cash sell all your positions. Don’t buy anything starve the economy. TACO will come around then. |
step... | These tariff flip flops make no sense eg 40% on Myanmar? Allegedly the Japanese trade rep was unable to get a meeting with Bessent. Trump is an embarrassment and we the people will pay the price for his ineptness. |
pvol... | Tariff wars by Trump will be resolved by both partioes before it causes harm to world economies. Trump is a negotiator and will not "bite off his nose to spite his face". |
clar... | Tariffs were and are a very bad idea, at least as being exectued by Trump. A more considered approach to reshaping the global economy would be more sensible and likely would have allowed for less interruptions within the U.S. economy. Trump’s herky-jerky, higgeldy piggeldy approach to doing what he says he wants to do has only made things worse. |
tubi... | dumb donald the deal breaker will approach this the the class and charismatic demeaner he always uses, which is actually none of the above, so he will screw it up and blame it on someone else as usual. |
jose... | Tariffs are a tax America is paying. |
mrse... | So stupid! |
aran... | Hasn't that already happened? |
tere... | Tariffs have been confused with extortion. |
gban... | This is a no brained for anyone who has studies Econ 101. |
mdul... | I think the markets believe that TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) will prevail and there will not be a generalized global trade war. Trump's continued moving of the goalposts suggests that might well be true. He said, within one week of his Liberation Day declaration of tariffs, that 200 countries had called to negotiate deals and it would be easy to get 90 done in 90 days. Then, someone on his team told him that there weren't even 200 countries on the list so he revised and said 70 had called. Then his Treasury Secretary said 50 had called and were well underway and more would easily follow. His son said that he would hate to be a citizen of any country that wasn't first on the list of new bilateral trade deals. So, after 90 days and 1 trade deal done and 1 trade framework done, now he escalates tariffs on two of our best allies, after having already targeted the two best allies. Somehow, though, MAGA will say this is all OK and use some kind of justification. |
mrta... | Hire a clown, expect a circus. |
usct... | TACO is not sure of what will take place. He just plays it by ear. There is no strategy beyond chaos, corruption, and cruelty. That is why the GOP is now the CCCP. |
ebr.... | Trump is no businessman. He's a con artist. |
isel... | Trump has, once again, met his match. A broader trade war results from tariff threats. |
matt... | Trump always chickens out |
creo... | If frogs had wings they wouldn’t dump their ass when they pump |
mage... | Common sense always prevails! |
nanc... | Welcome to the world of ABUSA (anywhere but USA) under tRump. They will find other trade partners and leave the dollar and US bond market in shambles. |
atli... | The US will continue to lose moral standing among nations, harm the economy world wide, including within the US, and fail to address the real existential threats of global warming and endless war. |
flem... | You just never know what crazy, mean-spirited, unhinged thing the Trump administration is going to do. |
kvas... | Traitor Don is looking for more tension because that will make his cult followers support him more strongly. TACO doesn't care about anything else. |
sopa... | The Trump's tariffs are on american people. |
Do you believe the Justice Department’s conclusion that no “client list” connected to Epstein exists?
- 92% No, some information might still be hidden or withheld
- 8% Yes, the investigation was thorough and conclusive
Comments | |
---|---|
dian... | How can you believe a politicized justice system? |
davi... | People with MONEY AND POWER still can make things disappear. We live in a society of the Have's and the Have not's. |
chri... | There’s a client list and it has Cheetos all over it. |
john... | BS! |
deca... | Trump is 100% on the list |
patc... | This “Justice Department” was assembled by Trump for the sole purpose of to acting as his legal team. So no, anything they say would need to be verified to be believed. |
pman... | Even these maga readers are lying. And are corrupted - the power that he had stretch’s past politics |
csbr... | Trump is a pedophile and is probably prominent on that list, just look at the photos of them together. |
kens... | It is funny that as soon as Elon Musk alluded to the fact that Pres. Trump might have some connection to Epstein files, the Justice Dept came to this conclusion. |
andr... | This isn't even a real question. LMAO |
pvol... | Are we to believe our government when all information prior indicates a client list. Where was Epsteins "ACE", if there was no client list? |
inde... | I think a very strict interpretation of client list was used to dodge this one. |
wvoe... | This is the worst shrouded secret cover up ever that is not so secretive. All of these just department people saying how they're going to get to the bottom of all of it and there's a client list and I've got a client list sitting on my desk - Pam bondi. I wonder how many Republican donors are on that list Wonder how many Republican politicians are on that list Wonder how many times Trump is listed on that list and now all of a sudden we're just going to bury and let it go quiet. Your question shouldn't have been more no more stuff is probably on that list or could contain things your question should have been do you have any trust in faith in the department of Justice and think that it's telling the truth yes or no |
rumr... | "might" is too weak to describe what seems almost certain. |
lora... | This does not matter. Clinton rode on Epsteins plane over 25 times and nothing happened. Exposing Epsteins client list will result in nothing since too many prominent people like Clinton, Durbin, Schumer, Coon, Jefferies, Stalwell, Bennett are all on it so the Democrats will cover it up and the Republicans will not pursue since they are afraid of retaliation from the deep state. |
nanc... | Absolutely not! tRump is probably top of that list. |
caja... | They are lieing to protect Trump |
kath... | It's likely here is a list and their names are on it. |
john... | Liars lie. |
clif... | So many powerful people where confirmed to be on his plane and on the island. Clinton, Trump, judges, Senators, etc... |
szir... | Every person that was associated with Epstein should be investigated for sex trafficking o |
bhad... | Can you believe it? No! The conspiracy theorists now in change of the DoJ are beholden to their master the sex offender what's his face in the white house. The Leopard can't change his spots. |
robe... | They chickened out because of the shockingly high level names on that list. |
blas... | Elon said Trump was there! |
atli... | The Trump administration not only cannot be believed but they even seem to be proud of the fact that they deny the truth and conceal their activities in the name of alleged national security. |
jkde... | Of course there’s absolute evidence. Anyone w a brain gets the picture - it’s been clearly documented. |
jose... | How can anyone believe Trumps administration? The DOJ is doing Trumps bidding ! |
quin... | If this had come out under a different president I might have believed it, but this story line seems to be beneficial to one high up person in particular and many in his cadre. |
kath... | How did he make his money? It had to be through black mail. |
ross... | I'm a republican. Don't act like nothing happened! Release the information!! |
aaro... | Too much smoke to be no fire! |
kira... | this is a joke to protect the elite |
ldsd... | Too many lies have been propagated by our government making it difficult, if not impossible, to believe anything anymore. |
isel... | The list definitely exists. DOJ is hiding the truth. |
dlio... | Complete BS. The FBI has a long history of lies and cover-up's. Very disappointed in Pam Bondi and Kash Patel. |
ende... | I believe this resent announcement is a response to Elon’s outburst and to some degree a cover up of the truth Otherwise why would Maxwell been so important and punished as she was ? I definitely see it as an established business with known customers |
alex... | They're outright lying and have destroyed evidence in order to protect Trump who is all over those files. |
rajd... | Bondi’s in charge- no credibility |
usct... | There may or may not be a list. It does not matter to conspiracy MAGA folks. |
alex... | Mr. Trump is on the list |
deku... | Trump's name is on the list and he just wants this issue to go away. |
mark... | I believe the list exists and contains the name of, or references to, Donald Trump and other high profile individuals. I believe that the Justice Department has been ordered to made certain the list is buried. |
tomp... | Unfortunately, this current Justice Department and FBI leadership are not trustworthy. |
eric... | or destroyed |
ferr... | The government bodies such as FBI and DOJ are untrustworthy. |
akmc... | protecting trump |
kfer... | Can no longer trust what comes out of government agencies influenced by Trump’s boot lickers and hype persons. |
drji... | Must be some well known names on that list with BIG $ |
tske... | Trump and his farting little toady Patel sweep it all under the rug |
ggia... | I call BS! |
benj... | BS |
mark... | DOJ is dirty! |
dave... | Bondi and Patel cannot be trusted! |
rtet... | Who are the men captured on the unreleased videos with more than 1,000 victims? |
bsor... | FBI is under pressure to suppress possible ties to high government figures. |
sall... | If there is no client list then why is Maxwell in jail? |
doct... | We, the People, are not that stupid. Look at the poll numbers! Well over 90% of We, the People, know there is a coverup on the Epstein files. The question is, "Why?" |
mwsz... | Even MAGA doesn’t believe this current news from DOJ. |
weis... | They are an arm of POTUS. Nothing is believable. |
frit... | Trump administration, especially Bondi are as dishonest as they come. |
kvas... | How on earth are we supposed to know the inside details of any Justice Department investigation? It's sheer speculation fueled by the distrust of the federal government sown by TACO Don and Melon Head Musk. |
ther... | This is hysterical, of course there is a list. Just like diddy. |
matt... | Don’t you think it’s suspicious that once someone said trump was on the list, an arm of the government that trump exerts a lot of influence over says it doesn’t exist? |
bosc... | the current administration has politicized the DOJ and they can no longer be trusted. |
jlg3... | There was no cover up when the Biden admin investigated. But there sure as hell is now. |
toni... | Trump is compromised |
sbaa... | Same as JFK, if nothing to hide, why was his killing stonewalled |
mage... | Too many poweful people "involved" and too much at stake to ever know the truth. |
isla... | Trump and Epstein's close ties explain why list swept under the dirt carpet. Billionaires can get away with gross misconduct especially when President. No surprise here. |
creo... | Why is it that I don’t trust you or the media! |
lken... | If that was the case, why was Gislane Maxwell it in prison. There is a list. |
jabl... | Why for months was there talk about an alleged client list and now it never existed or was conveniently lost or destroyed by a previous administration(s) |
gban... | Lies. |
tubi... | a cant imagine anyone who would actually believe that. i suspect its the lame phrasing of the question, which is to ask if he had a blackmail list(s), intended to blackmail, etc. (theyre not even clever about it) |
dhun... | A picture says a thousand words. History shows a deeper connection between Epstein and high ranking political players. |
jenn... | This administration is highly corrupt and likely to do what it needs to protect its own even if that means lying to the people about things. |
ypsi... | In February Pam Bondi said that she had the list of names on her desk. Now that list is empty? Considering how all of the president’s appointees will lie and tap dance around the truth to protect him, it’s likely that the list contained names of those close to the president. |
loug... | I do not think we can trust the information provided by the new DOJ |
juan... | Trump and Elon saw the list! |
jon.... | The promise of transparency appears to be in conflict with public comments by current DOJ/FBI leadership just a few months ago. This whole affair appears rife with the notion that critical information is being withheld for reasons the current leadership is unwilling to disclose. |
lesl... | Trump is on that list which is why it has gone missing. |
twin... | Dont trust trump admin. He was there years ago! FBI is not what it ised to be with trump in power. |
aran... | Totally fishy. |
john... | How does someone suddenly not have any information after publicly saying they had them? Someone wants this to go away. Why is Epstein's long-time girlfriend in prison for over twenty years? Politics have become darker and darker every year. |
mlun... | A complete lie. |
ghes... | The dark state got to Cash and joe bongino , and Trump unfortunately ! Cash is tough but not dumb ! When family is threatened you listen ! |
davi... | I don't believe suicide either. |
zkig... | All corrupt results. Trump is probably on that list |
pegz... | If they have images of victims - Who else is in those images? |
paul... | Trump and his buddies are likely on that list. |
flem... | I wonder what the conclusion would have been 18 months ago? |
ned.... | DO NOT TRUST TRUMP ! ! |
