patc...Too many charlatans in politics chasing personal power and wealth through divisive leadership tactics.
whit...I am very sad that Charlie Kirk’s was killed. He was a great debater and person. Our country has change for the worse and I am glad that President Trump is trying to clean up many cities that are out of hand.
davi...There is so much political tension coupled with willingness for violence - I believe that a downside scenario could include civil war. It would be helpful to hear historian / sociology perspectives on the direction that we are going.
sam....Trump loves this stuff and is going to continue to fuel it.
blik...There are only two stories today, the killings on 9-11 and the assassination of an American Icon. Radical cult caliphater muslims actually celebrate the first. Radical leftist hate monger terrorists are seen “celebrating” the killing of Kirk. You think George Floyd’s death by his own street drugs made him a “martyr” for the racist Democrat leftists? The Conservative Majority in America will mourn appropriately, and then get ready!
beth...Due to the culture created and stoked by the right and the fringe groups who align with them. Sadly this includes Turning Point USA.
csbr...You can’t spew hatred and intolerance, and then go out and make it your identity and not expect that energy to come back to you. Like Kirk said, sone people must die to protect the 2nd amendment.
huns...starts with leadership in our country. starting with our president. until he leads responsibly, shows respect for others and portrays a persona of compassion, working together and setting a responsible example, he has enabled people to act out with aggression and hatred
meli...That’s the wrong question to ask. A better question would be: Do you think this MAGA ally’s very tragic and public gun death will effect a change in the MAGA stance on gun control?
kmbw...The far left has lost their path....
kimb...Our President promotes mental pressure and delusion. We The People are taught to follow the leader. When he is done, we Will need to Make America Great Again.
btaw...Current admin rhetoric is divisive and hateful, as are their policies, yet they want to brand others for resulting violence. Just look at remarks from leaders form both sides after the event, it’s easy to spot the threatening antagonists vs those seeking toning down the rhetoric.
trag...I would love to be wrong but I don’t think there will be an end o political violence as long as the current administration continues to espouse revenge for perceived enemies, displays derogatory language toward opponents and those not loyal to trump. They have referred to immigrants as vermin and monsters and developed a system for aggressive apprehension of migrants and placing them in unsafe, dehumanizing detention facilities. All of this creates the message that some people do not count and can be treated in a harsh dehumanizing fashion. Our leaders on both sides need to promote non-violence and respect for all humans regardless of race or status or nationality Until that happens, there is little hope of de escalating hatred and violence.
rich...When we have vindictive, petty, divisive leadership what else would you expect!
cfcu...Too much extreme political pronouncements coming from Washington
nanc...The current regime is stoking it. No thought about dealing with mental illness or gun control from this administration.
carl...When the President creates an environment of hate hate hate this is the result.
pjpa...06-01-2020 Mankind Quarterly: Mental Illness and the Left - liberals suffer from mental illness 150% more than conservatives
john...President Trump sets the emotional tone for this country. He believes like he is an innocent victim and shouts "poor me." In reality, his words divide and rile people up on both sides of the isle. His end goal, sadly, may be division rather than bringing people together.
sesi...Liberals have become too mentally unstable to handle political discourse. First, they try to assassinate a presidential candidate and now they assassinate a political idealist.
nmik...Left wing rhetoric drives violence.
gban...Who are the morons who say “decrease”?
jane...As long as one side seeks every opportunity to quash any opinion that questions their viewpoint and do anything to maintain dominance and control nothing will change; it will only worsen. This must certainly be an indication that we are nearing the rapture. Charlie Kirk is a martyr, no doubt!
mdul...Trump has normalized violent talks and actions while never condemning violence. Unlike any POTUS in history, he has sought to divide the nation and using inflammatory characterizations like "vermin" and more. Even when he tried repeatedly to link left wing activists with violence, he was unable to do so but still stirred the flames. There is likely no going back.
kvas...Traitor Don and his Maggot Head Cult want us at each other's throats, and now they've literally achieved that. Has this country ever been closer to a Second Civil War?
bret...A truly silly question. Dictator Don has executives, congress people and everyone else greeting him with gifts and praise at every turn. It is only a matter of time before he believes the submission is adequate enough to start locking up those who disagree with him. That will either lead to violence or a total submission to the first US dictator.
cger...Progressive Leftist communist Democrats are losing ground. Just like a cornered animal they are lashing out with all the vile hatred, chaos, anarchy and violence they can muster. It is just who they are.
atli...Violence is always wrong.
falb...Unfortunately, the aggressive and malignant power that the president is displaying in cities and around the country does not add to political discourse or calmness in the streets. It is for him to calm his own rhetoric and set an example for the rest of the country.
pat_...May God bless Charlie Kirk's family.
moul...Extremists on both sides double down their rhetoric after every tragic incident.
tomd...However, I do believe we can collectively turn this around by, once again, advocating unity and patriotism. We also need to gravitate more toward bipartisan solutions versus constantly pitting one extreme against the other. I believe this is more like what our forefathers had in mind when they created the two-party system - a "check and balance", not a means to polarize us.
andr...Sad state. Understand The Principles of a Changing World Order by Dalio to see a theory on what's going on.
avaa...Trump ruined the USA! He only represents hate racism and the good old rich men's club
this...The current administration affirms violence as seen through January 6 acts and then their sentences removed. Allowance of military guns and inciting political divisions
jamf...This administration will make the consequences dire...Charlie Kirk was a brilliant young man, a servant of God who could reach our young people where no one else could. RIP Charlie🙏🏾
bdoy...Crazy trump has everyone wound up hating everyone who doesn’t share the same beliefs, encouraging hatred
jeff...This was a senseless act of violence. Yes, we must control our hatred better.
jose...Trump lit the fire of violence.
fred...People on both sides of the aisle are so enameled with being right and set in their own ways that they leave no room for negotiation or compromise. Everyone could take a moment step back and put themselves in the other person's shoes before they rush to judge
tiff...Awareness and unity changes everything for the GREATER GOOD! Let’s make this nation not a one size fits for all but a nation that stands together and lifts up the democracy that declared it is a place to be a freethinker and speaker and receive correctly when done with integrity and intention. We can turn this around for the good — we just need people who are WILLING to wrestle in the desert when harvests run dry too.
kelt...The far left has divided this country and is incapable of conversation. They only know violence and Chaos.
holl...The violent rhetoric and America's love affair with guns both contribute to the irrational violent killings that are taking place in our country. I weep for America.
rhen...Chickens are coming home to roost!
chri...Sensationalism and encouraging divide by our national media has had an impact on the i crease in related violence and mass murders per a DOJ report. This subject is explored heavily in our NTOA courses on Patrol Response to Active Shooters Instructor Course and Rescue Task Force Instructor Course. It’s not the sole reason, but impacts those on the fringe (93% of active shooters/active threats) are dealing with a mental health challenge. We need to respect opposing opinions and not view consumers as a commodity for viewership. 30+years of USMC and LE SWAT service
echo...People don’t communicate face to face any more and are to rigid with their opinions as they hide from others in cyberspace
kbki...When the leaders of our country use inflammatory language and incite violence against political opposition, then the result will be increasing violence. It will only be reduced by civil conversation between the parties.
jrv1...Regardless of an Individual’s point of view, we have to protect their right to voice their perspective. Sad moment for our country. God Bless Charlie
belc...Silencing those who disagree with your views on the left or the right must not be tolerated. It's endemic in Western society today and will end badly.
tere...Hate sown, hate reaped.
miss...Democrats and their ideology are a menace to a civilized society. They are certain to increase their violence now that they see there are no consequences to silencing and murdering anyone they see as opposing their ideas.
loch...As long as Trump is in office political violence will grow!

Should Israel have notified the U.S. before conducting airstrikes in Qatar?

  • 75% Yes, communication is essential for alliance integrity.
  • 25% No, Israel has the right to act independently.

tere...A partner we cannot control or influence is a liability creating risks we should not abide
moul...Is this the same Qatar that gave Trump the $400m jet?
zkig...Please, US would know if there is threat to any of their base from the Israelis. This is classic scape goat both countries are playing and pushing their agenda
cger...I hope they hunt down every terrorist under every rock they are hiding under and eliminate them completely so that they can never attack and kill, maim or kidnap any more innocents, like they did that October morning.
emyo...Dumb question. Should Israel have bombed Qatar at all? No. Should they be condemned? Yes. Trump is weak. Israel is going to do whatever they want, whenever they please.
kvas...Traitor Don's lips are firmly attached to Netanyahu's ass. They are both dictatorial fanatics. Traitor Don tut tutting over Israel's bombings are laughable after Traitor Don sends military troops into U.S. cities.
nanc...Not sure if Netanyahu is interested in an alliance with tRump at this point. He doesn’t see any benefits from it.
miss...Israel is not a vassal state and democrats are hostile to their existence. While the democrats are out of power, Israel should act as quickly as possible to destroy Hamas and other terrorist organizations. Once in power democrats will support the terrorists to the detriment of Israel.
atli...Israel should have contacted Qatar to make them aware that they were going to commit a war crime. The US has become irrelevant.
jeff...Trump will not achieve peace here or in Russia. He must condemn Israel’s actions in Gaza.
mdul...Trump continues to prolong the war and is almost the only world leader supporting Israel in this pursuit. Given that he also controls the arms availability to Israel, anyone would think that Netanyahu would be well served ensuring there is no space between him and Trump. I think the next interesting question is whether Trump would continue to support Netanyahu if he next bombed wherever Hamas leadership will next start meeting to plan - Egypt? Greece? Switzerland? Is there any place in the world that Netanyahu feels is out of bounds for bombing and killing Hamas leadership?

Is Oracle's surge in stock price post-announcement justified, considering the risks involved in the deal?

nanc...The unknown going forward is who will pay for all the electricity required for these data centers. It’s currently on the backs of the individual consumers, but that will have to change.
atli...A smart business deal means a harm is being done to the rest of us. This time in the form of higher electricity rates and more fossil fuel pollution. Goodbye humanity.
mven...It’s like the dot com days all over. A partnership that isn’t effective until 2027 - hmm a lot can happen in that time. We will see if they can execute.

atli...Humans are commiting suicide while the headlines tell us who is today's richest man and the new leader in providing the weapon as if that were a good thing when we need to tax billionaires out of existence and use the money to address an inhospitable environment.
drse...Reducing carbon fuel usage and emissions should be given higher priority and the risk to our environment and life should be given higher prevalence
nanc...All coverage regarding climate change is being withheld. The news outlets are afraid of drawing ire from our anti science, anti intellectual buffoon of a president. It’s all very symptomatic of an authoritarian playbook.
nmik...Left wing climate studies at universities survive on giving the government the results it wants. Not objective. Like boy who cried wolf, I don't believe a thing that's said anymore about climate change from fossil fuels
iwil...I don’t think you represented in the article the fact that these elements in the per Frost have been present for thousands and thousands of years and that in the bedrock 4 millions and millions. it implies that these are elements that we contaminated the area with.
